Sophie's Bath

So we had enough. Sophie smelled. Being syringe fed twice a day, she had a fair amount of food stuck around her mouth that light cleanings can't get rid of. Additionally, she drools. Add the two and you have a smelly cat. So we decided it was time for a bath. Now if you know Sophie, you know that we didn't come to this decision lightly. After all we plan to live a lot longer than 27 years (well technically 26 for Krista at the time). So we filled the sink and bathed her. It wasn't bad actually. She behaved really well. She doesn't have near the energy that she used to so she didn't fight real hard. After the bath, though, we got to see how incredible thin she's become. She does seem to still be improving slowly. Her skin is pink again (rather than yellow) and she's rather happy. The last couple of days, especially, she has been all over the house and jumping up on the couch and being personable again. I just thought I would share the update.
