A Note about my last post

If you are looking at the map of the US with the high temperatures displayed and are wondering what the big deal is, that's because the map has changed since I posted it. When I put it on the blog, I just linked the page location. Apparently that page is used for Tuesday updates and changes with the day. So now it looks much less impressive. When I first linked it the entire southeast was bright orange with temps like 78, 79, 81, etc. Now it just looks tolerable. I just thought it was funny so I mentioned it.
