Our Favorite Dragonfly

This was our favorite Dragonfly yesterday at the scalloping grounds. He never went real far and let us get really close to him. He may have been scared out his tiny little mind because we were about 5 miles from shore. Maybe not though, I don't know the flying distance of dragonflies. Either way, I found that he was not alone. He had a little buddy hitching a ride on his wing. It was probably some sort of parasite, but I'll call it his little buddy. Everyone liked the dragonfly and Nate took several photos as well. He even got it to stay on his fingertip. After all the things we put this little guy through, he finally had enough and bit Nate on the finger right at the end of the day as we were packing up. No one really felt sorry for him after that.
