So it's 2007...

Another year in the books. We're still doing what we always do. This year promises to be exciting as we are rapidly approaching the end (december '07 or may '08). I'll actually begin the process of writing my dissertation this month. When I'm not playing on the Wii that is. What am I currently playing you ask? Zelda: The Twilight Princess. It has to be one of the best Zelda games out there. It's certainly the best one I've gotten hooked on (though the Zelda for SNES is pretty high up there too). The next two big games that I'm looking forward to are the new Super Mario Brothers and Metroid games. I never really played Metroid growing up, so I have some ground to cover before I can play the Wii version. I have plenty of time though, it's scheduled to be released "sometime in 2007". At least they've narrowed it down. I've already started the process of getting all my friends hooked on the Wii. I get to introduce it to 4 more tonight. That'll bring my total to 9 (not counting family). And on a totally unrelated note: I made a perfect Angel Food cake last night to eat with the half-price strawberries I bought from Publix. The cake was so perfect I could win an award in an Angel Food cake contest. It took a while, but it was worth it. (and easier than I expected)
