Gator Game

Finally, we remembered to take some pictures at a game. The seats weren't the best (we were stuck down in the corner), but we had a good time and most importantly, we won. The Florida Gators were playing the Vanderbilt Commodores. Traditionally an easy team. Not this year.

Vanderbilt is having the best season in years to this point. They managed to find a way to come back and tie the game at the end forcing overtime.

The University of Florida band was right next to us the entire night. We started getting tired of the big drums early in the evening.

After two overtimes and a Vanderbilt interception (we stole the ball), the game was over. Florida won and Vanderbilt didn't.

For this game, we took my sister (Left) and her friend (Right). Both students at the University of Florida as well. They are freshman and had never been to a game before. It was a little too crowded, but they got to experience a Gator game.


By the way, did I mention that my sister wanted to go to Vanderbilt? If she had, she would of had to face a stunning loss at the hands of our beloved Gators! Just teasing, sis. ;-)
