While at the pet store with Spike

We sold our two baby finches! We got $80 for the two owl finches. While I was talking to the manager about Spike, I asked about finches. This is the only pet store we've found in town that will buy birds from us. If they like the first two, maybe they will take more from us. We already have another clutch of eggs coming along because the parents bred before we could remove the nest. No one told us this before we bought them, but finches are VERY prolific. Krista and I don't mind any more though. For $40 a baby they're allowed to be prolific. After this set of babies that they've started already we are going to try to control their breeding better. It's not healthy for them to breed all the time.
