Here's my crystal

These are different views of the same Bismuth Crystal.


It's very colorful with many blues and purples and a lot of gold color.


The colors are caused by oxidation (sort of like rust on steels). Oxides formed at different temperatures will give different colors. Some metals will display the entire color spectrum in its oxide colors.
